This place is awesome! Their dinner service is incredible with so many traditional German plates. The family style chicken dinner is absolutely phenomenal. Perfect spot for the family and especially kids. It’s also located in the heart of Frankenmuth with lots to do around it. Service was awesome and it felt like a home cooked meal.

Fantastic place! Beautifully decorated, the staff was so kind and updated us often on the progress of our food (which was nice because we had small children with us)! And most importantly, the food! Every single thing brought to us tasted amazing! I so much recommend this place to eat for all ages!

Extremely fancy! Everything is fantastic here. This is a tourist town and they do deal with a lot of people but they are always eager and super friendly to serve you best!

We love this place. We always enjoy and have fun in Frankenmuth. Delicious all you can eat chicken dinner with fixings, and other menu items. Friendly staff and accommodating. Family friendly. You will enjoy taking your leftovers home to enjoy the next day. The free birthday dinner when joining their rewards club, the perks are great. We definitely return all the time during the year even at 1.5 hours away.

I'm not going to give the greatest review on this place... simply because it's the truth... I went there for the first time recently to get the famous chicken dinner.. and quite frankly, I wasn't impressed.. I got the chicken breast dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans.. the mashed potatoes tasted bland and the green beans we're cold... the chicken breast were so small they each fit in the palm of my hand... our waitress was mediocre... and I left quite disappointed...I do not recommend this place to eat...

We have never had a bad meal at Zehnders. A great place to dine, their bakery is the best and their gift shop is great.

My family goes here every year for the Halloween fest! We all have fun and there are enough activities and water toy and slides to choose from that everyone is entertained! Highly recommend visiting! All staff members we've encountered have been friendly and helpful. The buffet for breakfast is amazing! We tried ordering from the regular menu at the main zehender restaurant for dinner one night and were not impressed.

We love going to Zehnders. We were there in December. One of their busiest times of the year. Our waiter made our dinner great. He was right on drinks and food and answering questions like he had no one else to take care of. He moved around the dining room constantly.

C+It’s 20$ for below avg fried chicken and a few sides. Not a great deal. And the chicken is better at pretty much any grocery store. Not quite German themed enough to make it worth the experience.

I've been coming here since I was a toddler and this is my favorite place to go! The food is fantastic, everyone is super friendly, and so many great memories were made here. I will be coming here for the rest of my life, and will pass down this tradition to my little ones someday!

The food was excellent and very friendly service. The wait was very long but to be expected. You can always go get drunk from bar when your waiting in line. I had the all you can eat dish, not the buffet. But it was a amazing!!! It was like a thanks giving at the table! Everything tasted great but the coleslaw was out of this world. I say that because I’m not really a fan of coleslaw but wow! It was good!

Down home southern kitchen feeling. Friendly atmosphere with delicious food. Liked the family style with unlimited refills and you are able to take left overs home. Chicken is very tastey has a thicker more floury breading than neighbor across the street. Great for families and large groups! Made to handle the masses.

Oh my goodness the food and service was spectacular! Such a great environment. Their fried chicken is spectacular! Way better than Bavarian inn. Great location and huge parking spot. I would recommend making reservations though.

Zhenders has amazing food! The chicken is really good! It's not dry or anything! The soups and all the other sides they bring out for your meal are amazing, and no one can forget about their ice cream for dessert!

This place was great. Family style dinning it was so nice to show my kids what it was like. My server was great. The chicken was delicious. The appetizers of the bread and cheese were good. The noodle soup was great. The cabbage salad was delicious. My kids had the chicken fingers and they liked them alot and wanted more than the 3 that came with it. The ice cream for dessert was hit with the kids and me as well. Cant wait to go back. So if your in Frankenmuth i recommend strongly going but bring your appetite. I definitely will be back.

Service was fantastic, and the location is amazing at night in December when the entire town is lit up. We each had the chicken dinner, served with all you can eat portions for each course. Food was hot, and tasty, but lacked variety (namely the appetizer round).Holiday buffet was $5 more and included a roast beef option that looked phenomenal, as well as some additional side options, and looked to be of similar value.Staff amazing, location amazing, food, so-so. Regardless, this location is a must stop.

Food was excellent, other than no white meat chicken five backs/ thighs, a leg and a tiny wing. Service was abysmal, I think his name was lee to loud in the bar for this individual? Started dinner on Friday March 13 at 6:25 and walked away at 7:30 without dessert. Did we get enough chicken, no. By the time it arrived we had lost our appetite. Drinks was refilled once. Asked the bartender for a check, I have to go look for your server? Came back says you had a chicken or turkey club? I turn to look at my daughter and our table say no. Clearly not on the ball here. Second guess was correct. Paid my $55.00 dollar bill and left. Would I recommend, sure but be forewarned that Zehnder's feel dinner should last over a hour and bring entertainment for children and male family members.

Food is good. Server was great. Was not a lot of wait time on food considering the place was packed. I recommend making a reservation. We walked up and got seated within 5 minutes.
